Bridesmaids’ brunch inspiration

When we received this submission of a bridesmaids’ brunch styled shoot from Memphis, we completely fell in love with the colorful and playful design. We loved it so much, we added it to our most recent print publication I Do Y’all Magazine.

Designs by LRH, Lemon Events, and their group of talented collaborators created a fun and incredibly lovely brunch setting for some of Memphis’ well-known bloggers and influencers. The color-packed design featured a huge floral installation, a multi-color tassel wall, AND a balloon arch installation. To say this design was over-the-top is an understatement, and WE LOVE IT!

Designs by LRH created the grand focal point over the main table with a colorful and billowy garland of baby’s breath and roses that floated effortlessly above with cascades of french tulips dripping down. Clusters of various eclectic flowers were peppered throughout the lush table runner with lilac, succulents, orchids, and allium. The Gin at Nesbit has soarking ceilings, so Cristina of Lemon Events hand-crafted giant, colorful streamer rope tassels that cascaded down several stories, accenting the side of the main table.

The team created a healthier version of a typical grazing table. Simply Delicious Catering provided an overabundance of fruits, cheeses, meats and other treats that lined the length of the table. Custom cookies were created for each blogger to mark their spot. It was a fun element that they got to see and taste! The cookies were provided by Collins’ company Whimsy Cookie Company.

In keeping with the healthy snacks, the group was served from a tropical smoothie bar with a mix of fresh, colorful smoothie selections. Sprigs of baby’s breath were sprinkled throughout the balloon garland by the smoothie bar with a large and lush cluster of a vibrant mix of fresh lilac, orchids, roses, and more filling the corner of the bar.
