Even though weddings and the wedding industry may have taken a hard hit this year, love is never cancelled in our book and some of yours too. Couples all over decided to forego the big wedding (even if it’s just for now) and elope! Elopements have always been so special to me, and I love to share them especially now for when people need some big inspiration in small packages which brings me to today’s blog! This South Carolina elopement shoot from Radiant Photography by Sydney Danielle features a vibrant color palette, boho charm, and the cutest Dalmatians in attendance! Check out all the details below!
Dapper Dalmatians
We had to give these two pups a shining minute here! They looked oh so dapper with their “owners” who are a real life couple by the way! Grabbing some attention during the faux vows, they even accented the color palette with turquoise ribbons tied around their necks. One amazing thing about elopements and microweddings is that your furry friends can take on a role or maybe an even bigger role during your special day given the closeness of the event!
Cozy Color Palette
One of our favorite aspects of this wedding shoot (taking second behind those pups) is the wonderful color palette used! Warm tones and neutrals with pops of turquoise has a cozy feel to it! It’s perfect for fall, however, it could just as easily work for other seasons as well! Sydney said, “We wanted to showcase multi-seasonal florals and colors. We wanted to show a fresh color mix that works for nearly all four seasons. I loved the vibrant variations of turquoise, bits of sea glass detail, peach, and golds.” The gorgeous place cards, the bride’s blue topaz ring, and the rock candy cocktails brought those turquoise pops out in the details, while the florals and attire played up the warmer hues.
Charming Intimate Dinner
Another upside (and personal favorite of mine) to smaller weddings and elopements, intimate dinners! There is so much room to really up the ante with details, colors, florals, favors, you name it! Like how the couple toasted with fun, rock candy cocktails! Not to mention, how cute is that dinner table?! With a seating for six, you can really have your Pinterest dream tablescape while still on a budget too! Sydney noted, “I hope this charming, classy little elopement can inspire all the southern chic belles out there that even a charming backyard wedding at a lovely family house can be great!” and we totally agree!
