Premier Picks: Bouquets & Event Design

As the year comes to end, I am going to give you my Premier Picks in Bouquets & Event Design, Cakes and Favorite Photographs.  These are all from featured weddings that have been in Premier Bride of Mississippi during the 2015 calendar year.  There were so many great everything, that it was hard to choose.  This week’s Premier Picks is Bouquets and Event Design.  Here are my top seven for 2015:

Wendy Putt and her team of Fresh Cut Floral & Catering in Jackson, MS always do a great job!  I love this bridal bouquet because it mixes color and texture with a broad variety of flowers and greenery.  This is a delightful combination of elegance and whimsy.

Jill Windham of Laurel, MS, is one of the most incredible designers I have met.  This is the design of the altar for her own wedding ceremony and reception.  The hanging flowers combined with antique finds transformed a blank venue into this beautiful indoor secret garden.

Rachel Cuevas Bond of Pine Hills Floral Designs in Pass Christian, MS never disappoints.  I had three other favorites and had to pick one.  She is a young Mississippi Coast designer who brings her special touch to every bouquet and design.  This bridal bouquet has my favorite flower, peonies mixed with roses and other varietals.  It’s gives a hint of color without over powering the white wedding dress.

Talk about drama and flair.  This bold arrangement says it all with a stunning touch of elegance.  Michael Brunson of Flowers Forever in Gulfport, MS combined all the senses with color, light, and emotion.

John Hickman of In Bloom, New Albany, MS, gave this bride a dreamy bouquet.  John mixed white and green hydranga with pink roses and added a touch of Lamb’s Ear.  He then tied the bouquet with pearls for a stunning display.  Of course, we all know every girl must have pearls!

Allium Floral Design in Cleveland, MS created this fresh from the garden bridal bouquet.  The mixture of roses, hydrangas, peonies shows a truly classic bouquet with a touch of freshly picked greenery.  I love the colors, textures, and mixture of ordinary to extraordinary.
