I have two fathers and I want both of them to walk me down the aisle. The problem is the aisle is not wide enough for both of them and me to go down together. What should I do?

How wonderful to have two loving fathers in your life. Definitely, you want them both walking you down the aisle.
There are lots of things you can do with an aisle that is too small. Let’s look at some of your options:
1. Start at the beginning of the aisle with one father on your arm and the other behind you both. Half way down the aisle, switch to the other father on your arm and the first father walking behind you. At the end of the aisle have one father on each arm to hand you off to your groom.
2. Start with one father walking your down the aisle. The other father is standing half down the aisle. Half way down the aisle, you are handed off to the second father who then walks you the rest of the way. At the end of the aisle, both fathers can then get on each side of you and present you to your groom.
3. You can try walking down the aisle with a father on each arm although they both may be a step behind to accommodate everyone on the narrow aisle.
4. You can walk down the aisle alone to both your fathers waiting for you at the end of the aisle. They will then get on either side of you for possibly a few steps to present you to your groom.
5. You can walk down the aisle with both your fathers walking behind you. When you get to the end of the aisle then both fathers can walk you a few steps or at least hand you to your groom.
There are a myriad of choices for you. These are just a few. Not knowing where the ceremony is being held, the exact width of the aisle and seeing the three of you, it’s hard to come up with one definitive answer. You may want to go and try several things before the rehearsal and see what looks and feels right to all three of you.
