Black Friday: Black Wedding Decor

Every woman knows she needs a little black dress.  It can take her everywhere.  the same is true of black as a color in your wedding.  It’s a great neutral tone that can be pared with so many colors.

For years, black was avoided because it was associated with death and funerals.  Now, you see black in wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses and as the color as bride chooses for her wedding.  There may be some that are goth weddings, but most are very elegant and traditional.

 

Black Friday has traditionally been the shopping day that begins the Christmas season.  Black is no longer for shopping and sad occassions.  It’s a great color that looks great with so many other colors.  Personally, I think black is a strong, vibrant color.  I have a lot of it in my wardrobe.  Probably too much.  And I love putting other colors with it to give everything a new fresh look.  Black is a great color for styling and one a bride should not be afraid to incorporate into her wedding.
