There’s just something about southern weddings, and especially those on the gulf coast that we can’t resist. When we started looking through our submissions for the next cover for our latest issue of I Do Y’all Magazine, we simply fell in love with this elegant, gulf coast wedding of Brooke Hurring and Hunter Desporte.
This gorgeous couple tied the knot at a family residence in Ocean Springs, Mississippi last February, The beautiful home overlooked the sparkling gulf, while a unique walkway spanning the backyard pool created a stunning bridge to the ceremony spot.
The couple decided to pass on the pre-wedding first look opting instead for holding hands on either side of a closed door and sharing a private prayer before their ceremony creating an incredibly special moment for the couple and amazing photographs to remember it.
The rich, jewel tones of the florals combined with varied types of greenery created an exceptionally striking palette. From the burnt orange and deep burgundy red florals to the dark, leafy greens and dried organic accents, we loved it all. After the Proposal Weddings & Events created the look and planned and designed the event.
