We are so excited to share this copper and sage wedding inspo from the Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Not only does the club boast 27 holes of gorgeous and challenging golf, it offers an absolutely stunning location for gulf coast weddings as well. Our team had a wonderful time creating this elegant look, and the group of wedding vendors collaborating with us was simply spectacular. Our design paired copper elements with tones of sage and white for a modern take on a traditional look. Classic white roses were paired with eucalyptus pods and the sweetest light green ranunculus for a contemporary style. Miller’s Grand Events contributed the beautiful white garden chairs and a rustic wood arbor which we covered with greenery and hanging florals. The tee area of Hole 1 was the perfect spot for a ceremony. It’s right near the clubhouse, and the beautiful vista and lake made for the perfect backdrop to our ceremony.
The team took some inspiration from the love songs of The Beatles creating DIY white plates edged with lyrics from some of their more famous songs. Gorgeous copper linens from BBJ added drama to the head table which was topped with three floral centerpieces each in tiny copper pots. The Peninsula’s chef produced the plated dinner which was not only delicious, but visually stunning. We will be talking about that beet rose and heart shaped croutons for a long time! We set our reception in the curved, lake view dining area and utilized the lakeside balcony for a picturesque cocktail hour. Not only does the venue have beautiful views for formal photos along the course, there is a waterfront gazebo where photographer Avery Forrest captured some of the most incredible couple’s portraits.
This Azazie gown was simple and elegant and oh so light – perfect for those humid outdoor weddings.
Did you know that Belk carries tuxes in their menswear department? Every properly dressed man, needs his own tuxedo.
There’s nothing like the rolling landscape of a golf course for perfect portraits.
Y’all, check out that perfect light green rununculus in the center of this arrangement. And aren’t these little copper pots just the cutest? We found them at a discount store. You can actually cook in them!Every plate had the lyrics to a Beatles love song. Our Art Director created these with Dollar Tree plates and a sharpie!
Those heart shaped croutons are the cutest, and that rose? It’s a beet!
We opted for a pie and dessert table in lieu of a wedding cake. All you need is love…and pie!
This gorgeous bridge leading to the gazebo made for some stunning photos. That beautiful bird landed on the rail just as our photographer started snapping shots. He posed for us the entire time.
