Personal details make a wedding special

We love when couples send us weddings that are filled with personal details that mean so much to them. The Mobile, Al wedding of Holly Easley and Nicholas Goldman was so full of these details it had us teary-eyed just looking through their gallery. First of all, bride Holly chose a red palette. I have to admit, red is not always my favorite. It can be tricky. It can be amazing or it can look like Christmas or a high school Valentine’s Day dance. This fabulous red wedding was beautiful. Holly chose the most gorgeous shade of brick red that complimented her auburn locks. It was red done right, and we loved it!

Our absolute favorite parts were those special details the bride and groom chose because they meant so much to them. From the rehearsal dinner which was held at the location of their first date, to the groom’s ring purchased in Gatlinburg, the site of their first vacation together, Holly said that each decision “had meaning” for the couple. The groom’s gift of cuff links with the photo of his honorary best man, Nick’s’ friend who had passed, and the accompanying framed note explaining that the pair had pledged to stand at each other’s wedding had us in tears as did the framed note from those adorable boys thanking him for being in their lives.

The clever use of the park bench as a guest book was just brilliant. The couple can place this in their yard preserving all the well wishes from their friends and family. We can see them sitting side by side on this bench in years to come reliving the memories of their special day.
