Romantic Destination Wedding in Texas Hill Country

Amylynn + Tanner from Paradigm Productions on Vimeo.

A year ago,  Tanner surprised Amylynn with both a sunrise hot air balloon ride and a proposal she’ll never forget (during their hard landing, she nearly flew out of the balloon’s basket!). Their February wedding in Comfort, Texas brought family members together from all over the country and involved a multi-state team of vendors, from Virginia to Florida to Arizona. OAK: A Southern Experience coordinated everything and Allison Jeffers Photography captured all the special memories.

“I could not have asked for a more smooth or stress-free day,” Amylynn recalled, “and I think that is every bride’s dream!”

During the first look photos with her bridesmaids, a truck full of groomsmen arrived unexpectedly. “We thought Tanner was in there… I literally fell into the arch to hide. Thank goodness for a wall of bridesmaids and quick thinking!” – Amylynn

Amylynn and Tanner’s guest book was a photo book of places they had traveled together over the last year.

The stunning mother of the bride’s entrance was almost as grand as her daughter’s.

The centerpieces included little-known facts about the bride and groom. Above: “In Elementary School, Amylynn could be described as a teachers’ pet. She used to stay after school and grade papers and organize her teachers’ charts.” Below: “Not counting college, the recent move to Arizona makes 18 (moves) for Amylynn and 14 for Tanner.”

Allison Jeffers Photography perfectly recorded the joy on Amylynn and Tanner’s faces.

The beautiful mother of the groom stole the show on the dance floor!

“The world’s best grandma made the wedding cakes for my sister, cousins and countless friends and I couldn’t be more grateful she agreed to make mine, too!” – Amylynn

“We had an incredible team of people make this day what it was,” Amylynn said. “From the quick and amazing ladies at Lipstick and Locks who got 10 girls in and out of hair and make up ahead of schedule to the best videographers from Paradigm Productions who made having cameras following you around joyful fun.

“OAK was absolutely amazing, they coordinated every bit of every detail and took all the stress off our cross-country wedding. We are incredibly grateful to have so many wonderful photos by Allison Jeffers to help preserve all of the love and joy and excitement the day.”
