SEC football is life and smart couples know that if they want all of their family and friends to attend their fall weddings, they better schedule it on a bye week. This past Saturday, lucky Tiger alumni and US military veteran Trevor jumped at the chance to pop the question to his girlfriend Megan, a critical care nurse at Tiger Stadium during the UAB game. With a $10,000 engagement ring from Diamonds Direct and the screaming cheers of Death Valley, this couple had the engagement of a lifetime on November 19th.

In conjunction with LSU Athletics, Diamonds Direct ran a giveaway campaign, “I Do with LSU”, that ran from October 14th until November 11th. Locals entered for a chance to win a $10,000 engagement ring and two tickets to the UAB game. Much to their surprise, LSU Athletics allowed the lucky winner to propose during the LSU v. UAB game on November 19th.
