I DO Y'ALL

Rainy Pink & Burgundy Hotel Rooftop Wedding

Rain on your wedding day doesn’t have to always be a bad thing! Take this rainy pink & burgundy hotel rooftop wedding for example. The weather did not stop their celebrations at all and certainly didn’t hinder the colorful decor either. Pops of pink and burgundy were located throughout the entire day from the bridesmaids attire to the beautiful lush bouquets and reception pieces. It’s truly delightful even with overcast skies! See more of this wedding below and how Brittany & Brian transformed a hotel rooftop into their dream wedding!

Local Destination Wedding

Brittany and Brian wanted to get married outside their hometown cities in Ohio for their wedding. However, they also wanted somewhere close enough for guests to be able to travel with ease. Brittany said, “We wanted to do something that would be a fun getaway for people and not just an evening event. We chose Asheville, NC because it was drive-able and there were so many activities for people to do while visiting.” We love the idea of a local destination wedding like this!

Rainy Wedding Details

While a rainy forecast is probably not any bride or groom’s dream, there are ways to play up the weather in your wedding details. For instance, this couple decided to embrace the weather with clear umbrellas for themselves and the wedding party. Not only are they totally reusable, but also made for some pretty cute photo props.

Pink & Burgundy Wedding Colors

This color palette really has our hearts skipping a beat. Something about the pink & burgundy together against the hotel’s rooftop and overcast skies POP off the screen!
