I DO Y'ALL

Unconventional elopement

So we are slightly obsessed with this wedding. Everything about this makes us happy. The couple is absolutely gorgeous. The gown is breathtaking. The florals are stunning, and the photography is captivating. We love when styled shoots aren’t afraid to push the envelope, and this one did it right. There is so much inspiration to be found in this colorful design. While you may not want to create such an edgy look, there are details that could be incorporated into almost any style wedding.

This unique styled elopement had a bohemian twist with a dreamy color palette full of soft pastels. Ilana, the founder of Briderie & Co., designed this shoot with an intentional focus on color that reflected through the colorful paper products to the vibrant smoke bombs and even the bride’s electric green hair. The shoot was located at the beautiful greenhouse on the Texas Woman’s University campus. The floral arrangements, designed by Studio Tersilla, included magnificent king proteas, roses, foxtails and fun little disco balls that embellished the entrance to the greenhouse. The pastel florals would be appropriate in even the most vintage or even formal weddings. The smoke bombs added a fun element that made for jaw-dropping images. This shoot provides plenty of inspiration for couples who dream of an edgy wedding that wows.
