Styled Shoot: “Fall” in Love With Navy & Burgundy

The changing colors at Stonebrook Farm inspired this burgundy and navy fall styled shoot, photographed by Danielle Film | Photo. When deciding on a location, a team of wedding pros led by Alex Schoenstadt of Schoen Films chose to stay near the Philadelphia area for its prime fall foliage and beautiful historic country.

Alex booked the shoot at the Historic Stonebrook Farm, a former dairy farm that has been in the same family for six generations. The idyllic agricultural landscape includes a 180-year-old barn, charming getting-ready house, and a marvelous silo in the middle of the property.

From the beautiful calligraphy by Pretty Ink Press to the romantic florals by Snapdragon Flowers, these vendors pulled out all the stops. Personal stylist Susan Padron styled the shoot. Two jaw-dropping cakes by Prima Cristina Cakes highlight the historic venue in burgundy and navy Satin Ice fondant. One also features a cake version of a “stone-carved” silhouette.

The intricate details of this fall styled shoot included embroidered handkerchiefs by the Handkerchief Shop, cake pops by Dani’s Cake Pop Shoppe,  jewelry by Craiger Drake Designs and The Mrs Box, vintage rentals from Fox & Finch and the makeup artistry of Kristen Fiori.

Models Zach HertelEvie KingAshley Meyers, and Erin Price were cast as the wedding party. YES to the Dress provided the wedding gown with shoes by Jimmy Choo.  The groom was decked out in Damari Savile.

This gorgeous, on-trend gown from YES to the Dress features beautifully details sleeves, a plunging illusion neckline and an airy, translucent A-line silhouette that floats away from the body. Simply stunning.

These navy bridesmaids dresses with three different necklines make an even bolder statement with uniquely different bodices and hemlines. The shared shade of navy and similar silhouettes coordinate beautifully for a cohesive look.

The groom is decked out in a suit from Damari Savile’s ready-to-wear collection.

Continuing the trend of non-matching bodices, Snapdragon Flowers designed three coordinating, non-identical bouquets.

Handkerchiefs personalized with the couple’s names and wedding date or their monogram make timeless keepsakes for newlyweds. (the Handkerchief Shop)

Personalized, coordinated handkerchiefs are a lovely bridesmaids gift, so let the happy tears flow! (the Handkerchief Shop)

Not one but two themed cakes interpret the navy and burgundy color scheme and reflect the history of the venue, Stonebrook Farm.

How incredible are the details of this sculpted wedding cake by Prima Cristina Cakes?

Cake pops by Dani’s Cake Pop Shoppe prove there is no such thing as too much cake.
