What better way to end my day, Sunday, January 26, than to watch the Bachelor, Sean Lowe wed the gorgeous, Catherine Guidici. After three weeks of bridal shows and one that very day, it was wonderful to sit back and watch the celebration of marriage between the two.
What did you like best about the wedding? For me, there were two things. First, I like the decor. I like the mixture of seating for the guests. You had Louis XIV chairs next to Chivari chairs and intermingled in amongst everything were benches, couches, and various covered chairs and seating.
Of course, the bride did not disappoint with her Monique Lhuillier strapless gown. The gown fit her perfectly. And Sean looked dashing in his classic black tuxedo with traditional bow tie.
It was touching to have Sean’s father officiate. And the vows each said were tender and moving. You could feel the love that both have for each other.
The second thing, I liked best and it’s really my favorite from the whole evening and the entire celebration was Sean’s father’s loving words to the couple: “Love God the most and you will love each other more.” How true. How often do I tell brides you must have God in your marriage. You must have the blessing of God. Life is tough and marriage can be challenging. That’s why it’s so important to have God front and center in your lives. Without God, I don’t know how you can make it through the day. Sean’s father’s words in the ceremony really reasonated with me.
Sean and Catherine had a beautiful wedding. I wish them much joy and happiness. With the support of their loving families and God as the focus in their lives, they are sure to succeed. Right now, Sean and Catherine, enjoy your honeymoon in Bora Bora and may everyday be a new day and a new adventure in the life long pursuit of your new married lives.
