Drew, what made your wedding special and what inspires you?

The people made our wedding special!  It was everyone from childhood friends to college friends to friends that we’ve made as young professionals from living in Charleston and Nashville.  Those relationships coupled with our family and the city of Biloxi as our location doesn’t get any more real and better than that.  Not to mention, that as a young girl, I used to play in the desolate White House Hotel with neighborhood friends, and we always dreamed about what could celebrate my biggest and most special day there, a mile from where I grew up, on the most beautiful Gulf in the world, with all my favorite people equaled perfection.  The White House Hotel is more than a hotel, for Biloxi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, it represents that life still goes on post Katrina and it does so with a fresh take on traditional Southern Sophistication.

What was your inspiration for your wedding?

My inspiration was to keep it sophisticated, yet Southern.  But by southern, to let The White House Hotel, large live oak trees, beautiful green lawn and the Gulf of Mexico do the work.  That was the setting and we were just there to dance around it.
